On the main corridor of the county seat β where Higuera meets Madonna. Serving San Luis Obispo and the entire Central Coast.
The Porcher family opened their first Jiffy Lube in Santa Maria in 1987. Nearly four decades later, they run eight locations across Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. The SLO shop on Higuera is the flagship for the northern half of the network β serving the county seat and everyone who passes through it.
San Luis Obispo is where the Central Coast comes together. It's the county seat, the university town, the place where people from Morro Bay, Los Osos, Avila Beach, and the Edna Valley all converge for work, shopping, and life. Having a reliable shop on Higuera means serving all of those communities from one central location.
Sean Porcher and Cody Mead run the operation with a philosophy that fits SLO's character: do good work, treat people well, and don't overcomplicate things.

This town earned its "SLO Life" reputation for a reason β people here value quality over speed, relationships over transactions. We run our shop the same way. Honest assessments, fair pricing, and technicians who take the time to explain what's happening with your vehicle.
San Luis Obispo's cost of living is real. Our team members have access to the Jiffy Lube Career Path β structured training, ASE certification support, health benefits, 401(k), and paid time off. We're building careers that work in this town, not just filling positions.
SLO sits in a valley ringed by the Santa Lucia Range and the Irish Hills. That geography can trap pollutants β especially on still days. Every vehicle running clean contributes to the air quality that makes this valley so livable.
The Jiffy Lube name provides industry-leading training, standardized equipment, and processes refined over decades. That translates to consistent service whether you come in for a smog check, an oil change, or a brake job.
But the decisions happen here. The Porcher family hires locally, sets the culture, and answers to the community. When you walk into this Higuera St shop, you're walking into a locally owned business backed by national-level capability.

Across all eight locations, the Porcher family supports the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Central Coast chapter. In SLO β a town that shows up for its neighbors β that kind of involvement isn't optional. It's who we are.
Cal Poly's "Learn by Doing" philosophy resonates with us. Our Career Path program is built on the same idea β learn the skills, earn the certifications, build a real career. Several of our team members started as students and stayed.
